I would be remiss if I didn't acknowledge my dearest of friends, Mrs. Becka Burke, for her part to play in this blog. As I slink behind in the dark ages, informed of the latest trends of 1997, it is she who continues to bring me up to speed. She has opened my eyes to the world of Pottery Barn and Anthropologie, Gmail and Facebook, "Wicked" and, most importantly, eyebrow waxing (although the current state of my eyebrows would suggest otherwise). Three years ago she began encouraging me to blog, probably so that her inbox would not be inundated with my latest irrelevant musings. =) I have toyed with the idea ever since and impetuously started yesterday.
Thank you, dear Becka, for your constant vote of confidence in all things, including this. I love you! And prepare yourself for strawberry shortcake in June!!!!
